What you may do with the published figures, how to ask for the bulk files, and the one caveat that has to travel with the numbers.

Every figure here was parsed from a file a public agency published, and the
archived bytes plus the exact cell it came from are named alongside it. You may
use, redistribute and build on any of it.

**The bulk files are not served from this site.** Every figure in them is open on
the entity pages and in the markdown twin beside each one, and neither needs a
request. What the bulk export adds is the layer computed on top — the balance
verdict, the defaulted share, the recoverable estimate, and the cell reference
behind each. If you want that as files, ask; the reply is a person, not a form.

**Attribution.** Cite `municorn.us` and the retrieval date. Every figure carries
a `source_ref` naming the archived file and a `prov_sheet` plus cell reference
naming the exact cell inside it — carry those through, because a number without
its source beside it is worth less than the number.

**One caveat that must travel with the numbers.** "Water loss" is at least three
different quantities depending on the jurisdiction. A comparison across states
without reading the methodology first will produce a confident, coherent, wrong
answer. That is not a disclaimer; it is the specific mistake this page exists to
prevent.

## What is not here

Two things this site does not publish, because they are not a snapshot of the
present and cannot be reconstructed from one:

- **The vintage archive.** Every past state of the corpus, so an issuer can be
  diffed against its own history rather than against today.
- **Alerts.** New filings, restatements, a disclosure that stopped appearing.
